I am mathematician by training, with a PhD in math from Colorado State University under Dr. Henry Adams and Dr. Emily J. King, with a focus on pairing mathematical techniques with modern machine learning techniques to leverage domain knowledge and expertise in creating interpretable and understandable techniques. My work at CIRA continues these themes, particularly deep collaboration with machine learning specialists and domain experts.

My recent work has focused on: Topological Data Analysis (TDA), Geometric Deep Learning (GDL), Diffusion Models, Explainable Boosting Machines (EBMs), and sensor fusion algorithms.
