I am a statistical post-processing meteorologist and developer at the Meteorological Development Laboratory in Silver Spring, MD. I currently work in the Localized Aviation MOS Program (LAMP) group to improve probabilistic and deterministic forecast guidance for ceiling height and visibility. More recently, I have investigaåted a variety of machine learning techniques to improve certain LAMP products. Since then, I continue studying new machine learning approaches for different environmental applications.
