Dr. Rogers directs the education, outreach, communications, and other efforts for CIRA, assists with oversight of the societal benefits research group, and supervises the satellite training group.  Research portfolio includes GOES/VIIRS intercalibration efforts, solar power forecasting, optical flow interpolation, and AI/ML methods for environmental sciences and ethical AI education.
