About the RAMGIF Image Gallery
The RAMGIF Image Gallery is a collection of images in GIF format that have been identified as being particularly useful in depicting various aspects of satellite meteorology. It was created in order to make these images readily available to the public (when using any images from this source please give due credit to CIRA/NOAA). The Gallery will be updated periodically as new images become available.
Images can be viewed by selecting a category and then clicking on a specific image number from an index page or by using the navigation buttons on the image pages to browse.
You can return to the RAMGIF main page/menu any time that you like by clicking on the button marked 'Menu'.
You can return to the index page for the current category that you are viewing by clicking on the button marked 'Index'.
If there is additional information available for an image the 'Text' button will be active.
The images can be viewed at full resolution by right-clicking on the image and selecting View Image.
An image may be down-loaded simply by right-clicking on the image and selecting Save Image As... (Note: some images may appear to have poor resolution, this is due to their being displayed at reduced size, when you download an image it will be at full resolution.)
