As of 1800 UTC Monday, Sept. 22, Hurricane Nora was located at 18.8 N and 111.7 W. Estimated pressure was 950 mb and the maximum near surface winds were approximately 110 kts, which is category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson scale. The 1800 UTC motion was northwest at 9 mph.
