The Office of International Programs' International Development Studies Board and the Department of Anthropology are pleased to announce that Visiting Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Hue Le from the Center for Natural Resources and Environmental Studies of Vietnam's National University will present a talk on Vietnam's vulnerability to projected climate changes. The talk will focus on issues of vulnerability and adaptation. Dr. Le is currently based at the Center on Globalization and Sustainable Development, The Earth Institute of Columbia University in New York City. She is designing a new curriculum on climate vulnerability and adaptation for the National University. Hue received her MA in Urban and Environmental Policy at Tufts University, her PhD in Agriculture and Rural Development at the Institute of Social Studies at The Hague, and was a post-doctoral fellow at Amsterdam School for Social Science Research, University of Amsterdam.
