Dr. Emrich will offer a visual tour of the Hurricane Katrina recovery work that Hazards and Vulnerability Research Institute (HVRI) researchers have been involved in along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This presentation will include discussions of social vulnerability, disaster impact, and recovery tracking and metric creation. It will also identify a variety of recovery challenges and victories from along the way.
