Objectives:
- The purpose of the Nighttime Applications project is to develop specific tools and techniques required by DoD users to exploit the NPOESS/VIIRS Day/Night Band (DNB) when it first becomes available (i.e., on the NPOESS Preparatory Project, now slated for an early 2011 launch).
