Objectives:
- Continue monitoring low res. AVHRR SST products in SQUAM, generated by NAVO, heritage MUT & Advanced Clear-Sky Processor for Oceans (ACSPO).
- Develop capabilities for monitoring High Resolution SSTs in SQUAM, e.g., ACSPO FRAC, Eumetsat FRAC, ACSPO MODIS (Terra, Aqua) and NPP Suomi.
- Further continue intercomparisons of daily Level-4 (L4) analysis SST fields, compliant with the Global High-Resolution SST (GHRSST) and include newer products.
- Improve capabilities for monitoring of geostationary products (SEVIRI SST) in SQUAM, as preparedness for GOES-R.
- Maintain seamless operation of in situ quality monitor (iQUAM).
