This research is concerned with the inverse problem estimation of surface fluxes given the observations of CO2 concentration. The research includes several topics: global and regional inverse problems, empirical parameter estimation in biosphere models, and assimilation of new observations from the tall towers in Wisconsin, and from satellites.
