Dr. Anton Kliewer
I attended Pennsylvania State University to earn a B.S. in Mathematics in 2005. I continued my education at Texas Tech University earning a M.S. and Ph.D in Mathematics in 2013. My dissertation analyzed different chaotic systems with stochastic differential equations over a variety of topics that included a model of tumor growth, a predator-prey model, and the risk seen in the mortgage crisis of 2008. My research applies mathematics and statistics to solving complex problems without deterministic solutions. Current research includes a detection method for non-Gaussian random variables and instituting new cost functions and solvers into a satellite retrieval system specifically designed for lognormal random variables.
