CIRA Team awarded 2012 Governor’s Award for High-Impact Research

The Hurricane Forecast Intensity Project (HFIP), part of the RAMMB team here at CIRA, has been awarded the 2012 Governor's Award for High-Impact Research for their groundbreaking research into hurricane intensity and track forecasting. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, on behalf of CO-LABS, an institute dedicated to advancing awareness of Colorado's federal research laboratories, to the HFIP team at a banquet honoring awardees on Thursday, October 25th at the University of Colorado Campus.
