March 2013
Cooler and drier than normal conditions were experienced at Grand Lake 1 NW during March. The average high was 39.4° compared to the normal value of 43.3°. The average low was 11.9° compared to the normal monthly value of 13.4°. Extremes ranged from a high of 53° on both the 15th and 16th to a low of -13° on the 5th. Precipitation measured 0.63 inches during March which was below the normal value of 1.38 inches. There was 21.1 inches of snow recorded with a maximum snow depth of 21 inches on the 1st and 12th.
