Temperatures were cooler than normal in Fort Collins during March with an average high of 53.4° compared to the normal of 54.7°. The average low was 26.3° compared to the normal of 28.2°. Extremes ranged from a high of 76° on the 15th to a low of 8° on the 24th. Despite a few potent winter storms crossing the region during the month, conditions ended up being drier than normal. Fort Collins received 0.98 inches of precipitation compared to the normal value of 1.59 inches. There was 12.7 inches of snow during the month with a maximum snow depth of 5 inches on both the 23rd and 24th.
