Cooler and wetter than normal conditions made headlines in Cheyenne Wells during the month of March. The average high was 54.0° which was cooler than the normal value of 56.8°. The average low of 22.9° was cooler than the normal average low of 27.1°. Extremes ranged from a high of 77° on the 16th to a low of 4° on both the 24th and 25th. It was a wet month with a few different snow storms tracking across the area. The weather station received 1.02 inches of moisture compared to the normal of 0.81 inches.
