This version of RAMSDIS On-line (ROL) is geared towards experimental products generated from the GOES Imager and Sounder and products from AMSU on NOAA-15. The individual products are explained by accessing the More Info links. The GOES Sounder products are generated from 10 km spatial resolution data in 19 channels. Sounder images are displayed blown up to 5 km spatial resolution in 24-frame / 24-hour loops. The GOES Imager products are generated at 4 km spatial resolution and are displayed in 8 frame loops. Data from GOES-12/east is at 30-minute temporal resolution, covering 4 hours; data GOES-11/west is at 15 minute temporal resolution, covering 2 hours. Feedback on these products can be sent to: hillger@cira.colostate.edu

The Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU) products are generated from data received from the polar-orbiting NOAA-15 satellite. Products are composite images displayed on global maps covering the entire earth. These product are generated at CIRA and are shared with the Synoptic Analysis Branch of NOAA/NESDIS.
