Firefamily+

DESCRIPTION

According to the Huntana Web site, Firefamily+ is a Windows 95/98/NT program that summarizes fire climatology and occurrence for one or more weather stations stored in the National Integrated Fire Management Interagency Database (NIFMID).

Firefamily+ incorporates the functionality of:

• PCFIRDAT
• PCSEASON
• FIRES
• CLIMATOLOGY

into a integrated Windows program that operates on a database structure.

Designed around the PCHA database, Firefamily+ reduces the confusion between lead card files, weather input files, passing files, and output files that often frustrates even veteran PCFIRDAT/PCSEASON/FIRES/RERAP program users. The database is compatible with fire planning tools and allows fire occurrence analysis from adjoining regions of different protection agencies.
