Satellite Overpasses of Interest to CLEX

CloudSat and CALIPSO aren't the only satellites that will pass over Southern Ontario during CLEX/C3VP. Overpasses for selected satellites during the third CLEX/C3VP IOP are shown. Credit goes to John Forsythe for the images. They are in chronological order by satellite.

Some notes: the small crosses represent the satellite overpasses, with times at particular points given in UTC. The large cross shows the location of Ottawa. The double cross shows the location of CARE. The largest, thinnest cross gives the scale, the width and height of which are 1000 km.
