Weather Summary

Yesterday's high pressure system drifted slowly off to the east. Behind it was a much stronger low pressure system than the one that moved through on the 19th. During the day at CARE, altostratus gradually thickened and lowered transforming to low stratus and nimbostratus with a few flurries. Just to the southwest (over Michigan, Indiana and Ohio) was a band of heavy snow associated with the low. It was this snow that was forecast to hit CARE during tomorrow morning's flight.

Flight Summary

Today is the day for the ill-fated Trois-Riviers overpass and yet again we've passed on flying it in favor of flying the ~2:30 AM LT overpass near CARE tonight/tomorrow morning.
