Ridging over the primary operations area will continue the drying aloft
with RH values forecast to be 10-20% tomorrow morning with downward
forcing throughout the day.
In the longer term... the operations area should come under the influence
of the next trough from the Pacific Northwest on Friday morning. Models
are in agreement with both timing and intensity of this trough, bringing
moisture and upward forcing over central Nebraska by 12Z Friday. The
only fly in the ointment might be precipitation (similar to the system
on Tuesday) ... but right now it looks like, at a minimum, it should be
a good day to schedule a shorter "shakedown" mission to make sure all of
the procedures are working properly...
