The separate DDR&E sponsored tri-Service Battlespace Atmospherics Conference (BAC) and Cloud Impacts on DoD Operations and Systems (CIDOS) conferences have been brought together and are now called the Battlespace Atmospheric and Cloud Impacts on Military Operations (BACIMO).

This year the second BACIMO conference was held at the University Park Holiday Inn, 425 West Prospect Road, Fort Collins, Colorado, on April 24-27, 2000. BACIMO 2000 was hosted by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Battlespace Environment Division together with the Center for Geosciences/Atmospheric Research (CG/AR), a part of the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at Colorado State University.
